Aims and Scope

Neurological Cases is an exciting case report journal for clinicians to learn and review the rare or new feature(s) relevant to neurological diseases. It is also an especially important resource for medical students, neurology residents and fellows to build upon their clinical knowledge and skills. It is also a tool for those for Residency In-Service Training Examination, Neurology Board Examination, and/or Maintenance of Certification.

Case reports should show one of the following:

  • Classical and/or typical presentations of a rare neurological disease
  • Unreported or unusual presentation of a neurologic disease
  • New associations or variations in disease processes
  • New findings of a neurologic disease
  • New techniques that may help in diagnosis and/or treatment of a neurologic disease
  • Test utilization or testing-related health or financial outcomes
  • Adverse effects or interactions of medications or intervention in the management of a neurologic disease
  • Any new finding(s) that will help understand the pathogenesis of a neurologic disease
  • A review article on a neurologic disease
